New old stock American Optical Command 23K gold plated vintage sunglasses frame. It was this sunglasses model that was worn by the crew of Apollo 11 including Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. A pair is on display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space museum in the USA. The sunglasses re in fabulous condition with a few tiny scratches to the lenses from storage. A pilot perfect frame, with skull grip sides, perfect for those who wear helmets. The lenses have 100% UV protection, absorb approximately 85% of light and are made of glass (original lenses). A few minute scratches are on the lenses from storage, but theses are not noticeable unless inspecting closely. Worn by the USA military this classic style should not be missed.
