Gérald Genta Gold and Gold 01 is a rare and highly desirable pair of vintage sunglasses. Gérald Genta was a Swiss wristwatch designer and his most famous designs were the Audemars Piguet Royal Ark and the Patek Philippe Nautilus. These frames are gold and platinum  plated and have the seven digit authentication number engraved on the inside. This particular pair has been fitted with a G15 sun tint with 100% UV protection. The detail is in keeping with the Genta watch designs and the prototype spectacles were created in the Gérald Genta factory in Geneva, allowing him to cast a watchful eye, ensuring the designs were just perfect. This frame is in superb new old stock condition and is fitted with the original demo lenses. Manufactured in the early 90's in Italy. All spectacles supplied with a brand new spectacle case and a Retro Spectacle microfibre cleaning cloth.
