Original 1950's deep maroon vintage cat eye glasses made in Germany. A brand is engraved on the inside left but unable to make out what it is. A crystal bridge and lower rim converts to the deep maroon almost black upsweep which is complemented by a gold detailing. The maroon sides also have have a small gold detailing adding great elegance to the frame. A five barrel joint adds great strength to the sides. This frame is in a used vintage condition, the top right gold detailing has been repaired and looks more bronze in comparison to the left. Air bubbles can be seen on the bridge. Despite of these flaws this frame is in very wearable condition and would quite easily house prescription lenses at no greater risk than any other frame. Bargain price for an original 1950's pair of vintage glasses.
