In excellent vintage condition this steampunk vintage sunglasses frame has been fitted with new mirrored lenses, which have a bronze appearance from the outside, grey to look through and come with 100% U.V protection. Haute couture, these stunning frames are stamped on the inside left with the "Jean Paul Gaultier" branding the model number 55-2272 and the end tip features the numbers 21 and 2L. The inside right features the word "Otectron" and "Frame made in Japan". A Unisex frame the round acetate front is supported by broad ribbed silver metal sides giving an essence of Steampunk. The bold JPG emblem can be seen on the temporal edge of the frame. High quality rare vintage sunglasses.
